The 15th edition of the Hyundai León Cuna del Parlamentarismo 10km running race is scheduled to take place in León, Spain, on October 18. Initially, organizers anticipated approximately 6,000 total runners across three categories: a 10km main race, a 2.8km race for young athletes, and a 2.8km popular race for families.

As the event approached, participation estimates were adjusted to approximately 5,000 total participants, including 1,900 runners in the main 10km category. Notable trends include 650 participants traveling from outside the province and female participation reaching approximately 30% of the 10km entrants.

Due to construction on Calle Ancha near the Cathedral, the race route has been modified. The finish line has been moved to Avenida de los Cubos at the intersection with Calle Pontón, a change officially approved by the Real Federación Española de Atletismo. The course will impact local traffic between 9:15 and 12:30 as runners pass through various urban areas, including Calle Corredera and the San Marcos area.
