In preparation for the November 3, 2026, general election, various regions in California have begun implementing voting access measures. Cal State LA was designated as a Los Angeles County vote center, providing services such as drive-through voting and ballot drop boxes to students and local residents.

As the election approaches, multiple counties across Southern California have opened early in-person voting locations. Los Angeles County opened 123 centers on October 24, with hundreds more scheduled to follow. Orange County and San Diego County have also commenced operations using a mix of permanent centers and mobile units.

Election officials are promoting mail-in ballots and offering conditional voter registration at participating sites. To maintain election integrity, contingency plans including secure equipment transport and backup power have been established.
