Alisha Palmowski, a Red Bull-backed driver representing Campos Racing, secured the 2026 F1 Academy championship at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas. Palmowski clinched the title with three races remaining in the season after a strong performance in the reverse-grid race, where she climbed from eighth on the grid to finish second.

During the race weekend, Alba Larsen achieved her first career victory in the category during the reverse-grid race. However, a late collision during the feature race eliminated both Palmowski and Larsen from contention in that specific race. Nina Gademan claimed her second victory of the season in the feature race, finishing ahead of Payton Westcott and Granada.

Other notable events included Swedish wild card Alexia Danielsson being unable to compete in the final race due to a wrist injury sustained during a first-lap crash on Saturday.
