The 2026 FIM Motocross World Championship season concluded in Australia with results in both the MXGP and MX2 categories.

In the MXGP class, Romain Febvre of the Kawasaki Racing Team secured the silver medal. Despite not winning any races during the 2026 campaign, the two-time champion achieved his 11th podium of the season at the Darwin circuit. Febvre indicated that the season was difficult due to the challenge posed by Jeffrey Herlings.

In the MX2 class, Guillem Farres claimed the world championship title. The championship was decided in a competition between Farres and his Triumph teammate, Camden McLellan. Although McLellan won the qualifying race and the first MX2 moto, Farres’s second-place finish in that moto provided sufficient points to secure the season title.
