The 2026 Presidents Cup at Medinah Country Club concluded with Team USA securing its 11th consecutive victory. Despite trailing the International Team by three points entering the final day, the American squad achieved a comeback by winning nine of the 12 singles matches, finishing with a final score of 17–13.

President Donald Trump attended the tournament in his capacity as honorary chairman, marking his first visit to Illinois since his reelection. His presence was characterized by mixed reactions; while he received enthusiastic support from many attendees, he also faced profane heckling from spectators and protests from groups outside the club gates.

Security for the event was significantly heightened, involving SWAT officers, airport-style screening, and the construction of a bulletproof glass suite. During the proceedings, the President addressed the crowd, stating, ‘Our country is doing great, better than ever before.’
