Municipalities across Latin America are executing various public infrastructure and lighting projects to enhance safety and utility.

In Argentina, Olavarría has installed LED lighting at the Hinojo and Sierra Chica sports courts to permit nighttime use, while the Regional Port Consortium in Mar del Plata is modernizing maritime signaling beacons on the North, South, and Shelter breakwaters. Additionally, the Municipality of General Pueyrredon has established an Emergency Committee to coordinate preventive actions against heavy rainfall expected from El Niño. In the Simoca department, Governor Osvaldo Jaldo inaugurated paving for 10 blocks and approximately 7 kilometers of public lighting in the Monteagudo commune to improve connectivity and road safety.

In Mexico, the government of Cuautla is progressing with a public lighting rehabilitation program, having installed approximately 400 photocells across 19 neighborhoods.

In Chile, the community of Loncura completed renovations on Calle Casma, which included repairs to a lookout structure and native landscaping.

In Uruguay, the Maldonado administration invested in new LED lighting for Balneario Solís and Balneario Bella Vista. The government of Salto is also studying urban monitoring and video surveillance models in Maldonado to inform its own technological management plan.

In Ecuador, the national government, through CENTROSUR, is investing over USD 400,000 to install 400 LED luminaries along the Cuenca–Molleturo–El Empalme road. Scheduled for completion in November 2026, the project aims to improve visibility for over 10,000 daily users in areas prone to fog.
