Natural gas distribution companies in Brazil have announced various infrastructure expansion projects.

This strategy includes a R$ 1 billion investment to develop a biomethane network in the Triângulo Mineiro region, targeting the mining sector to facilitate decarbonization. The company also aims to establish transport corridors that may eventually transition to renewable fuels.

Separately, ES Gás announced a R$ 10 million investment to expand the gas network in São Mateus by 2030.
