Indonesian carrier TransNusa is expanding its flight network through new regional and international routes.

In early September, the airline launched a nonstop service between Bali and Phuket, connecting two Southeast Asian tourism hubs. The route, operated with an Airbus A320, initially runs four times weekly with plans to expand to daily service in October. This launch is supported by the Tourism Authority of Thailand to increase Indonesian visitor numbers.

Following this, TransNusa announced a new route connecting Melbourne, Australia, to Denpasar, Bali, scheduled to begin on 19 October 2026. This service will also debut the airline’s ‘Premium Plus’ product, a tier positioned between standard economy and traditional business class.
