Vietnam is advancing multiple major expressway projects across different regions. 

In the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot Expressway project, construction is entering its final stages. The XL1 package, led by a Deo Ca Group consortium, is navigating complex geology and mountainous terrain to complete the 1.7 km Phuong Hoang Tunnel. The contractor aims to finish the construction phase by the end of 2026, with operations expected to begin in 2027.

Simultaneously, preparations are underway for the Bao Ha - Lai Chau Expressway (CT. 13). This 163.5 km route, estimated at 53 trillion VND, will connect the Noi Bai - Lao Cai expressway to the Ma Lu Thang international border gate. A state appraisal council is currently reviewing the project’s pre-feasibility study, while local authorities in Lai Chau manage land clearance and resettlement plans for approximately 660 households.
