Other reported violence included an attack in Jena involving a broken glass bottle and a physical assault in an Aalen restaurant.

Subsequent reports highlighted more severe knife-related violence. In Kirberg, Hesse, a 50-year-old man, a German citizen born in Kazakhstan, allegedly attacked his estranged wife with a kitchen knife in a bakery. The victim fled the building but was pursued into the street; bystanders intervened, with one witness using a rolling pin and another using a sign to defend the woman. The victim sustained serious stab and cut wounds and was hospitalized, leading to an investigation for attempted murder. The suspect was also injured during the intervention.
