Italy continues to host a diverse array of cultural, literary, and musical events. In Milan, programming includes the 10th anniversary of Milano Music Week and the 15th edition of BookCity Milano, which features the ‘BookCity Milano 0-6’ project focused on early childhood reading. The city’s fashion and art sectors remain active with Milano Scultura and various rooftop events during Fashion Week, alongside celebrations for the 20th anniversary of designer Gianvito Rossi.

Regional literary and library initiatives are expanding. Prato will host the 20th edition of ‘Un Autunno da sfogliare,’ comprising 220 events across the provincial library network. Other community-focused activities include the Festa della Biblioteca in Bollate and various library workshops in Bologna and Trento.

Specific artistic highlights include a series in Savona at the Pinacoteca Civica titled ‘Cartoline da Milena Milani.’ Curated by Monica Brondi, the series focuses on the visual poetry of Milena Milani through graphic works, ceramics, and audio-visual recordings. Additionally, author Augusto Rubei is set to release his debut book, ‘La strada’ (published by Piemme), in Rome. The book, which explores social struggle and redemption in the San Basilio district, will be presented on September 29 at the Galleria Alberto Sordi.
