The Northeast Anatolia Development Agency (KUDAKA) has been conducting various investment and support initiatives in Erzurum, Erzincan, and Bayburt to improve regional production, employment, and social welfare.

Initial efforts focused on large-scale sectoral investments, including hundreds of millions of TL allocated to construction, infrastructure, manufacturing, and culture, arts, and sports. The agency also prioritized human capital through 60 projects aimed at strengthening the local workforce.

More recently, KUDAKA announced the results of its 2026 Technical Support Program. This phase selected eight projects from 11 applications to foster development in specialized areas such as digital tourism, gastronomy, health tourism, and youth entrepreneurship.
