The Montreal Canadiens have begun managing their top prospects to prioritize development through game repetitions. The organization assigned goaltender Jacob Fowler and defenseman David Reinbacher to the Laval Rocket to ensure they receive consistent playing time rather than serving as depth options for the NHL roster.

In recent performances, prospect Michael Hage recorded three points in a victory for the University of Michigan Wolverines. Meanwhile, Jacob Fowler provided notable goaltending for the Laval Rocket, keeping the score close during a 2-0 shutout loss to the Syracuse Crunch despite being heavily outshot.
