Toronto transit services have undergone several major adjustments and partial closures during the fall of 2026.

In late September, the TTC Line 1 Yonge-University experienced a service suspension between Finch and Sheppard-Yonge stations due to planned signal work. Simultaneously, GO Transit implemented construction-related changes on the Lakeshore East and Stouffville lines, utilizing shuttle buses to replace train services.

By mid-October, transit disruptions continued with a partial closure on TTC Line 2 Bloor-Danforth between Kipling and Jane stations. These service changes coincided with various local events, including several fall festivals and Thanksgiving weekend markets.
