Recent classical music showcases have featured diverse interpretations of major composers across Europe.

In Austria and Switzerland, performances focused on the works of Gustav Mahler and Franz Schubert. Baritone Andrè Schuen and pianist Daniel Heide released a recording of Mahler’s songs, utilizing a stripped-back style to seek “existential clarity.” Additionally, the ensemble Musicbanda Franui hosted ‘Die große Schubertsache’ in Vienna, exploring Schubert’s repertoire with various vocalists and pianists.

In Spain and Austria, performances expanded to include works by Bach, Debussy, and Chopin. Pianist Beatrice Rana performed at the Auditorio Nacional in Madrid, while the Mozarteumorchester, led by Roberto González-Monjas, performed Mahler’s Third Symphony in Salzburg, featuring various choirs and a large horn section.
