The 53rd Internazionali di Sicilia, an ATP Challenger 50 event, marked the return of professional men’s tennis to Viale del Fante and the Circolo Tennis Palermo after a twenty-year absence.

During the tournament, Gabriele Piraino advanced to the round of 16 after defeating sixth seed Jay Clarke following a two-hour rain delay. Francesco Passaro also progressed through the early stages by defeating Oriol Roca Batalla.

Passaro ultimately secured his fourth career Challenger title by defeating Czech player Jonas Forejtek in a final lasting nearly two hours and forty minutes. The victory, which earned Passaro 50 ATP points, was dedicated to his recently deceased father.
