The controversy centers on videos from their channel, ‘We React’ or ‘Weracle’, specifically a Chuseok holiday gathering. Viewers alleged that Song Ji-eun was sidelined in favor of actress Yoon So-hee, a close family friend. Specific points of contention included the use of different tableware for Song and Park mentioning Yoon before his wife during a pre-meal prayer. Additional criticism arose from resurfaced clips, including comments made by Park We regarding a desire for a son to ‘carry me around’, which some netizens labeled as gender-biased. These incidents follow a separate August controversy in which Park We was criticized for his handling of CCTV footage involving a KTX wheelchair accident. Following that previous incident, Park apologized, suspended his channel activities, and resigned from his position as a Seoul City ambassador. ## Timeline ### 2026-10-12: YouTuber Park We faces scrutiny over resurfaced family videos YouTuber Park We and wife Song Ji-eun face online backlash as past videos regarding family dynamics and gendered comments resurface following Park's previous controversy involving a KTX accident video. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/youtuber-park-we-faces-scrutiny-over-resurfaced-family-videos ### 2026-10-08: Park We and Song Ji-eun face allegations of family favoritism YouTuber Park We and wife Song Ji-eun face online allegations of family favoritism toward actress Yoon So-hee following a controversial holiday video. 3 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/park-we-and-song-ji-eun-face-allegations-of-family-favoritism --- Cite as: Controversy surrounding YouTuber Park We.
