Various cultural and literary events are taking place across Italy, focusing on the importance of critical thinking, reading, and inquiry in the modern age.

In Grottaglie, the 21st Festa dei Lettori has begun, featuring discussions on how imagination and responsibility contribute to democratic participation amidst the challenges of digital communication. Additionally, the Bookolica festival in Tempio Pausania is set to explore themes of laughter as freedom, artificial intelligence, and information freedom.

Other scheduled events aim to address truth and science. In Misano Adriatico, philosopher Lucrezia Ercoli will lecture on the role of doubt in a post-truth era, while a cultural tour in Reggio Emilia will host a dialogue between scientific journalist Silvia Bencivelli and Alessandra Ferrari regarding the relationship between science, knowledge, and society.
