Saudi Arabia has engaged in high-level diplomatic meetings to address bilateral relations and regional security. In late September, Saudi Arabian Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud and Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam met in New York to activate the Saudi-Lebanese Joint Committee. This move is intended to enhance political and economic coordination, particularly following the lifting of restrictions on Lebanese exports to the Kingdom.

By mid-October, diplomatic efforts expanded to include Syria. Syrian Foreign Minister Assad al-Shaibani met with Prince Faisal bin Farhan in Riyadh to discuss strengthening bilateral ties. During these discussions, al-Shaibani stated that Saudi Arabian security is “an integral part of Syrian and broader regional security” and expressed solidarity with the Kingdom following missile and drone attacks on civilian facilities, which have been attributed to Houthi forces in the context of the Yemen conflict.
