Law enforcement actions against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leadership have intensified, involving the arrest and detention of several high-ranking officials. Former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur was reportedly taken into custody during an audio leak case hearing, resulting in the adjournment of court proceedings.

Former Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Minister and PTI regional president Khalid Khurshid Khan was also detained in connection with protests. While police sought a 30-day physical remand for Khurshid, an Anti-Terrorism Court in Islamabad instead ordered him to jail on judicial remand.

In related legal developments, courts have discharged several PTI workers previously held in connection with a party long march, and a Special Anti-Terrorism Court in Rawalpindi cancelled the interim bails of PTI leader Naeem Haider Panjutha and former MPA Fakhar Jahan due to repeated failures to appear at hearings regarding political protests.
