The eleventh round of the Saudi Roshn League has concluded with Al-Hilal reclaiming the top spot in the standings. In a dramatic 3-2 victory over Al-Qadsiah at the Prince Mohammed bin Fahd Stadium, Al-Hilal moved to 27 points, placing them two points ahead of Al-Nassr and two points clear of Al-Qadsiah.

In the match, Gabriel Martinelli opened the scoring for Al-Hilal in the 21st minute following an assist from Ollie Watkins. Al-Qadsiah responded in the 31st minute with a header from Julián Quiñones, which marked his sixth goal of the season. Despite losing Martinelli to an injury early in the second half, Al-Hilal regained the lead in the 77th minute through Rúben Neves, followed by a goal from Sergej Milinković-Savić in the 84th minute. Mateo Retegui scored late for Al-Qadsiah in the 87th minute to narrow the margin, but the result leaves Al-Qadsiah in third place with 25 points.

Following the match, Al Hilal manager Simone Inzaghi expressed satisfaction with the performance, noting the high level of competition provided by Al Qadsiah, while Al Qadsiah coach Brendan Rodgers praised his team’s “fighting spirit” despite the loss.

Earlier in the round, Al Shabab secured a 3-1 victory over Al Fateh, featuring the first-team debut of Yemeni player Adel Abbas. Al-Nassr, positioned third with 22 points, continues to navigate tactical pressures under coach Ange Postecoglou as they attempt to close the gap on the leaders.
