Cultural and musical activities are taking place across Greece, including events in Thessaloniki and Athens.

In Thessaloniki, scheduled programming includes a disco-themed grand opening at the Nouvelle Multipurpose Space in Evkarpia featuring music from the 1970s through the 1990s. Additionally, the ‘Love Knows No Borders’ concert by songwriter Kostas Chatzis and singer Daniela is set for late October at the Soul venue. The Thessaloniki Concert Hall has also scheduled chamber music performances, including string octets and works by the Athens Saxophone Quartet.

In Athens, the Athens Concert Hall hosted a production titled ‘Venizéle, Venizéle, dóse mia diatagí! The folk muse sings of Venizelos.’ Produced by the Eleftherios K. Venizelos National Foundation for Research and Studies, the event used folk music, hymns, and operettas to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the statesman’s death.
