Local community activities in Nuevo Laredo have transitioned from public service and religious gatherings to seasonal celebrations.

In late October, the municipality hosted service-oriented events, including a program in El Marqués offering free medical consultations, vaccinations, and veterinary services, alongside a parish-organized children’s kermés in Nuevo Laredo featuring food stalls and religious activities.

Following these services, the community held Halloween-themed festivities. This included a bazaar at Plaza Zaragoza organized by the Municipal Government's Secretariat of Social Welfare, which provided a platform for local entrepreneurs and featured live music and a pet costume contest. These local activities occurred alongside broader regional celebrations in Mexico, such as the Mega Procession of Catrinas in Mexico City and various parades and themed events in cities like Delicias, Hermosillo, and Ciudad Obregón.
