Legal proceedings have commenced against several individuals in Uganda involving allegations of corruption and fraud.

In Kampala, four individuals—including three Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) officials and a land dealer—were remanded following allegations of a fraudulent land scheme in Munyonyo. The suspects face charges of criminal conspiracy, forgery, abuse of office, and fraudulent procurement of a title regarding a property in Kyadondo Block 255.

In Mukono District, Mubarak Sekikubo, a former LC III Chairperson, was remanded on charges of corruption and criminal conspiracy.
