Sources: 9. Developments: 2. Valencia Basket has maintained a strong start to their EuroLeague season. Following a 93-82 victory against Hapoel Tel Aviv, which kept their record undefeated, the team secured a subsequent 86-78 win against Fenerbahce. In the victory at the Roig Arena, TJ Shorts led the Spanish side with 23 points, supported by Armoni Brooks and Kameron Taylor, who each contributed 16 points. Although Fenerbahce attempted a comeback led by Wade Baldwin IV and Shavon Shields, Valencia maintained composure to improve their season record to 6-2. Coach Xavi Albert praised the team’s “competitive character” and their ability to adapt when offensive plans were disrupted by the opposition’s defense. During the Fenerbahce match, the Turkish side mounted a late surge that narrowed the gap to a single point in the fourth quarter. However, Valencia’s performance in the paint and at the free-throw line proved decisive in sealing the win. Albert also noted the team's defensive growth and their ability to adapt as the game became physically demanding. ## Claims - Valencia Basket defeated Fenerbahce with a score of 86-78.
