Recent elections in Serbia have resulted in significant shifts in parliamentary representation. Albanian political representatives from the Preševo Valley secured two seats in the National Assembly, an outcome described by Albanians for America (AFA) as a “significant achievement” for the community in Preševo, Bujanovac, and Medveđa. AFA noted that this transition toward electoral participation provides an opportunity to advance demands for equal rights and economic development.

Simultaneously, the city of Kragujevac is expected to see record representation in the upcoming session. This is largely attributed to the ‘Studentska lista - Studenti pobeđuju’ (Student List - Students Win), which is projected to secure approximately 52.7 to 53 percent of the vote and bring 13 candidates from the region into parliament. Other mandates are expected from the ‘Aleksandar Vučić – Ujedinjena Srbija’ list.
