Authorities in Vietnam have conducted several law enforcement operations targeting different criminal activities. In Da Nang, police apprehended five teenagers for a series of thefts involving mobile phones and various currencies. 

In Cao Bang province, investigators arrested eight individuals, including seven Vietnamese citizens and one Chinese national, for the illegal possession, sale, and transport of approximately 2 kilograms of mercury. The group is currently under investigation for trafficking the toxic substance.
