Omonoia is preparing to host AEL in the 8th round of the Cyprus League at GSP Stadium. The club is looking to recover momentum following a recent loss to AEK and a draw against Olympiakos.

Coach Yure Balcovets addressed the media regarding the team’s recent performance, noting that the squad struggled to convert scoring opportunities in their previous defeat. He emphasized the need for composure and requested fan support for the upcoming fixture.

In terms of squad status, Omonoia will play without the injured Negko-Christou, while AEL is expected to be without Densvil due to a muscle tear.
