Following a record £125 million transfer from Newcastle United in August 2025, Alexander Isak has improved his form for Liverpool after a debut season hampered by a broken leg. During his first season, he managed only four goals in 22 appearances.

In the current campaign, Isak has become a key attacking player, scoring six goals and trailing only Erling Haaland in the Premier League scoring tallies. His recent performance has led to increased interest in Fantasy Premier League, with his player price rising to £9.2m. Analysts note that he has been finishing more effectively than his expected goals metrics would typically predict.
