In Kikonai, the 5th Kikonai Grand Industry Charm Fair showcased Hakodate Wagyu beef, fresh fish, and local agricultural products, including tastings of Kikonai miso zangi. In Kesennuma, Miyagi, the 40th Kesennuma City Industry Festival took place at the city fish market, offering Pacific saury, swordfish, and bonito. The Kesennuma event included drum performances and tours of the fish market facility, which was rebuilt following the Great East Japan Earthquake.
