# Platoon Aviation wins 2026 52 Super Series title > Developing situation record from CLSTR: https://clstr.news/situations/52-super-series-championship-finale > Updated: 2026-10-10T17:42:28.000Z. Sources: 12. Developments: 5. The 2026 52 Super Series championship concluded at the Valencia Sailing Week in Spain, with Platoon Aviation securing its second series title. The championship was mathematically decided after the Regatta Committee, led by María Torrijo, announced that weather conditions would permit only one of the two final scheduled races to be held. While Platoon Aviation claimed the overall season crown, the trophy for the Valencia Sailing Week was decided in the final race. The Italian team Alkedo Cetilar, helmed by Andrea Lacorte, won the regatta after finishing second in the final heat. Alkedo Cetilar narrowly defeated the Dutch team No Way Back for the event victory. Although No Way Back suffered a penalty that initially dropped them to the back of the fleet, they staged a comeback to finish eighth, which was insufficient to overtake Alkedo Cetilar in the standings. ## Timeline ### 2026-10-10: Platoon Aviation wins 2026 52 Super Series title in Valencia Platoon Aviation won the 2026 52 Super Series championship in Valencia, while Alkedo Cetilar claimed the Valencia Sailing Week title. 7 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/platoon-aviation-wins-2026-52-super-series-title-in-valencia ### 2026-10-08: Platoon Aviation leads 52 Super Series season finale in Valencia Harm Müller-Spreer’s Platoon Aviation holds a 20-point lead in the 52 Super Series season finale in Valencia after strong performances in recent races. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/platoon-aviation-leads-52-super-series-season-finale-in-valencia ### 2026-10-05: Paprec leads 52 SUPER SERIES Valencia Sailing Week after opening races French team Paprec leads the record 16-boat 52 SUPER SERIES Valencia Sailing Week after the first two races, holding a top position in the season's grand finale. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/paprec-leads-52-super-series-valencia-sailing-week-after-opening-races ### 2026-10-03: 52 SUPER SERIES season finale begins in Valencia The 2026 52 SUPER SERIES concludes in Valencia, Spain, as Platoon Aviation holds an 11-point lead over Sled in the fight for the season championship. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/52-super-series-season-finale-begins-in-valencia ### 2026-09-30: 52 Super Series championship heads to Valencia for season finale The 52 Super Series sailing championship concludes in Valencia, with Platoon Aviation holding an 11-point lead over Sled in a tight race for the season title. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/52-super-series-championship-heads-to-valencia-for-season-finale --- Cite as: Platoon Aviation wins 2026 52 Super Series title.
