Prasan Nepal, a 21-year-old leader of the international violent extremist network known as 764, has pleaded guilty in a US federal court to conspiracy to commit sexual exploitation of a child.

Nepal, who operated online under the name ‘Trippy’, was identified as a senior leader who helped establish the group as a teenager and directed its operations for nearly four years. Alongside co-conspirator Leonidas Varagiannis, Nepal controlled membership and access to a subgroup called ‘764 Inferno’. The network utilized encrypted messaging platforms to recruit members and exploit minors through grooming, manipulation, and extortion.

Investigators reported that the group’s activities included the production and sharing of child sexual abuse material, extreme gore media, and the coercion of victims into acts of self-mutilation, animal cruelty, and violence. At least eight minor victims, some as young as 13, were identified across multiple jurisdictions.

FBI Director Kash Patel stated that dismantling the 764 network is a top priority, noting a nearly 500 percent increase in 764-related arrests last year. Nepal faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years and a maximum of 30 years in federal prison, with sentencing scheduled for March 5, 2027.
