In late September 2026, the company launched the Lavender Dusk edition of the Ultimate 3 Controller for Xbox and PC in Europe. This officially licensed hardware features TMR joysticks with a Force Ring Adjustable Tension system, Hall Effect magnetic triggers, and remappable rear paddles. Following this, 8BitDo announced a Tomb Raider 30th Anniversary collection to commemorate the franchise. The collection includes an Ultimate 3 Controller for Xbox, priced at $119.99, which features designs showcasing various iterations of Lara Croft from her original polygonal appearance to modern versions. This model is officially licensed for Xbox and PC and includes TMR analog sticks to prevent drift and Hall Effect sensors for the triggers. The collection also features a Pro 3 Bluetooth Gamepad priced at $79.99. Designed for Nintendo Switch, PC, and mobile platforms, its aesthetic is inspired by the ‘Lost Valley’ level from the original 1996 game. Both models incorporate advanced technical specifications, such as TMR sensor joysticks and high polling rates, with deliveries expected to begin on October 24, 2026. ## Timeline ### 2026-09-25: 8BitDo announces Tomb Raider 30th Anniversary controller collection 8BitDo is releasing two Tomb Raider 30th Anniversary edition controllers, the Ultimate 3 for Xbox and the Pro 3 Bluetooth Gamepad, featuring specialized designs and advanced sensor technology. 5 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/8bitdo-announces-tomb-raider-30th-anniversary-controller-collection ### 2026-09-22: 8BitDo Ultimate 3 Lavender Dusk edition launches in Europe The 8BitDo Ultimate 3 controller in a new Lavender Dusk edition is now shipping in Europe for Xbox and PC, featuring TMR joysticks, adjustable tension, and Hall Effect triggers. 3 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/8bitdo-ultimate-3-lavender-dusk-edition-launches-in-europe --- Cite as: 8BitDo controller product launches.
