Developments: 2. The reality competition ‘A Fazenda 18’ has seen multiple participants withdraw from the program. On October 16, singer Jottapê exited the competition following the elimination of his ally, Igor Monteiro. Jottapê stated his departure was the fulfillment of a religious promise to God, noting his primary purpose was to support Monteiro and share his faith. On October 23, entrepreneur and actor Gabriel Torres withdrew from the show. Torres announced his decision by ringing the workshop bell, stating, ‘I want to communicate my withdrawal from the game. Unfortunately, for me, I think it has reached the end of the line.’ His departure occurred one day after he was saved from the fifth ‘Roça’ elimination round. His exit was announced to the remaining participants by the week’s farmer, Thaíde. Torres’s departure marks the third withdrawal of the season, following Jottapê and Jônatas Faro. These exits occurred alongside recent eliminations, such as Catherine Bascoy, who left the competition on October 22 after receiving 13.98% of the public vote. Following these departures, internal tensions have risen among the remaining contestants. The current farmer, Thaíde, has experienced interpersonal friction with Darlin Ferrattry and Ariela Carasso, at one point declaring he does not even like them. Strategic discussions are ongoing regarding the next ‘Roça’, with Thaíde considering shifting his target from Darlin to Maíra Charken, whom he described as the ‘weak link’. ## Timeline ### 2026-10-24: A Fazenda 18: Gabriel Torres quits following Catherine Bascoy elimination A Fazenda 18 faces a wave of departures as Gabriel Torres becomes the third contestant to quit, following the elimination of Catherine Bascoy and previous withdrawals by Jottapê and Jônatas Faro. 12 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/gabriel-torres-withdraws-from-a-fazenda-18-reality-show ### 2026-10-16: Jottapê withdraws from A Fazenda 18 reality show Singer Jottapê has withdrawn from the reality show ‘A Fazenda 18’ following the elimination of his ally Igor Monteiro, citing the fulfillment of a religious promise. 14 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/jottap-withdraws-from-a-fazenda-18-reality-show --- Cite as: A Fazenda 18 contestant withdrawals.
