During a D23 panel, casting updates were announced for the second season of the ABC ‘Scrubs’ revival. Scott Foley is set to reprise his role as Sean Kelly, with a storyline involving a rekindled romance with Elliot Reid.

Further casting details revealed that John Higgins, a former ‘Saturday Night Live’ writer and member of the comedy group ‘Please Don’t Destroy’, will join the series as Grant. Higgins will play a recurring role as the hospital’s new Chief Resident, a character intended to act as a foil to J.D.
