The Abeno Harukas Kintetsu Main Store in Osaka has initiated a large-scale renovation of its children’s clothing section. This project is part of a broader management plan to remodel approximately 30% of the building by the end of fiscal year 2028 to attract next-generation consumers.

The renovation is being implemented in stages. The brand Familia has already renewed its shop, expanding its sales area and introducing a new workshop space for families. This renewal includes the introduction of exclusive merchandise, such as limited-edition items featuring a ‘takoyaki-style bear design’. 

Other scheduled updates for the children’s section include re-openings for Miki House, Petit Bateau, and Petit Main throughout October and November. Additionally, the store will host the ‘Peko Fest in Abeno Harukas’ from October 7 to October 20, 2026, featuring Fujiya and Sanrio character collaborations.
