The Abierto de Jockey Club polo tournament concluded with La Irenita securing the 61st title. In the semifinals, Las Monjitas advanced to the final after a 16-15 extra-time victory over La Natividad-La Dolfina.

In the final match held in San Isidro, La Irenita defeated Las Monjitas with a score of 13-9. The winning roster, led by captain Pablo Mac Donough, included Matías Mac Donough, Paco de Narváez, and Beltrán Laulhé. Matías Mac Donough was named the tournament MVP.

Ahead of the tournament, the Argentine Polo Association (AAP) announced the 2026 Triple Crown structure, consisting of the Hurlingham, Tortugas, and Palermo Opens. AAP President Benjamín Araya noted that Palermo Open start dates would be adjusted to avoid conflict with a visit by Pope Leo XIV, and announced that free tickets for initial Argentino Open matches would be discontinued to manage rising production costs.
