AC Milan is navigating a period of intense fixture congestion following the international break. The club faces a demanding schedule through November and December, including European away matches in Salzburg and Bournemouth, as well as several Serie A fixtures against opponents such as Atalanta, Udinese, Bologna, and Napoli.

To manage the risks of fatigue and injury caused by matches played with less than 72 hours of recovery time, manager Ruben Amorim is expected to implement tactical changes. For an upcoming match against Sassuolo, reports suggest a potential shift to a 4-2-3-1 formation, with potential rotations in the defense and the anticipated use of Christian Pulisic playing behind Gonçalo Ramos.
