AC Milan is managing squad rotations and tactical adjustments following an injury to Alexis Saelemaekers, who is expected to be sidelined until February with a right ankle issue. This injury is anticipated to increase playing time for Alphadjo Cisse and Diego Moreira.

As Milan prepares for a match against Sassuolo, manager Ruben Amorim may shift from a 3-4-2-1 formation to a 4-2-3-1 setup to grant more freedom to winger Samuel Chukwueze.
