A few days later, on the morning of 6 August, two additional fires erupted in the Greater Accra Region. One consumed a metal container used for commercial activities in Nungua, while the other destroyed several wooden homes and a mechanic’s workshop in Odorkor. Firefighters responded quickly, preventing further spread and again reported no casualties. The Ghana National Fire Service is investigating the causes of all incidents.

The pattern shows multiple, unrelated fire events affecting workshops, vehicles, homes and businesses in Accra within a short period, prompting repeated safety reminders from authorities.
