Tokyo Onkyo has announced the release of the Acoustune XHS1400, a new modular wired earphone scheduled for market availability on October 30. The device features a detachable design where the aluminum C:04 acoustic chamber can be separated from the M:04 wired connection module.

The earphones utilize a driver unit composed of ‘Milinx’ biomaterial and a lithium-magnesium alloy dome. Due to its modularity, the XHS1400 is compatible with the HSX1001 series, allowing users to attach the acoustic chamber to existing wireless modules. The product is expected to retail for approximately 58,300 yen in Black and Gold.
