ACR Messina sports activities involve both football and futsal competitions.

In futsal, ACR Messina Futsal competed in a Serie A2 Élite midweek fixture against New Taranto. The match ended in a 4-4 draw, characterized by frequent lead changes. Messina opened the scoring through Piccolo, but Taranto took leads via Raguso, Quinto, and Ricci. Vinicius secured the draw for Messina by scoring a hat-trick, including the equalizing goal via a left-footed volley and a final low shot just over a minute before the whistle.

In football, ACR Messina advanced to the quarterfinals of the Coppa Italia Eccellenza following a 7-0 victory against Athletic Gioiosa. This followed a 4-0 win in the first leg. The return match, which featured goals from Bonanno, Loria, Langone, Varela, Doni, and Pellegrino, was used to test tactical solutions and provide playing time to younger players against an Athletic Gioiosa lineup composed entirely of under-age players.

Off the pitch, the football club is facing internal challenges, including a dispute with the municipal administration regarding the management of local sports facilities and the resignation of long-time team doctor Francesco Mento after 12 years of service. Previously, in the Eccellenza Girone B championship, the club prepared for its home debut at the Franco Scoglio stadium against Nebros, with local authorities implementing traffic and safety measures near the San Filippo highway junction.
