On Maharishi Valmiki Jayanti, Adityanath issued a message stating that the sage’s teachings of truth and righteousness serve as eternal guidance. He noted that the state is working to uplift all social classes by developing sacred sites like the Valmiki Ashram in Bithoor and the meditation site in Chitrakoot, highlighting that naming the Ayodhya international airport after Maharishi Valmiki provides his legacy with national and international recognition.
