Professional wrestler Adam Copeland is scheduled to make his Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling debut at the Northern Rising pay-per-view event on October 3 at the Mattamy Athletic Centre in Toronto. He is set to face Steve Maclin, a former TNA World Champion who accepted the challenge after criticizing Canadian wrestling as a ‘feeder system’.

As the event approaches, MLP founder Scott D'Amore has praised Copeland for his professionalism and assistance with promotional storytelling. The appearance comes amidst Copeland’s ongoing career with All Elite Wrestling (AEW), where he has recently reflected that the promotion provided him with new creative avenues following his departure from WWE.
