The 33rd International Adana Golden Axe Film Festival has announced the eight finalists for its National Documentary Film Competition. From a pool of 66 submissions, six of the finalists—‘Bay Okan’, ‘Epipe’, ‘Kağıdın Sesi’, ‘Mor Menekşeli Kadınlar’, ‘Sende Bana Rastladım’, and ‘Sıcak Bir Göz: Mehmet Güreli’—are set to make their world premieres during the event.

The festival, hosted by the Adana Metropolitan Municipality, is scheduled to run from September 26 to October 4, 2026. Screenings will take place at the CinemaPink salons within the 01 Burda AVM. The selection was conducted by a committee including Burçin Yalçın, Gülten Taranç, and Necla Algan, while the final jury consists of Ecevit Kılıç, Evrim Kaya, Rezan Yeşilbaş, Sibel Karakurt, and Talha Eyüboğlu.
