The Film and TV Academy of the Adriatic Region announced the nominations for the 2026 Adriatic Film & TV Awards (AFA), which were determined by over 800 industry professionals. The awards recognize productions from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Croatia, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Slovenia, and Serbia across ten categories, including film and television.

A new category was introduced to honor exceptional success in theatrical distribution based on box office revenue. The film ‘Svadba’, directed by Igor Šeregi, won this inaugural award after attracting approximately two million viewers across the region and becoming the most-watched film in Croatia. The AFA awards ceremony is scheduled to take place from October 23 to 25 in Tivat, Montenegro.
