In Cesenatico, the Festa di Garibaldi featured a parade of traditional vessels such as trabaccoli, bragozzi, lancioni, and battane through the Porto Canale. The event, organized by local authorities and the Associazione Vele al Terzo, included folk competitions and a fireworks display as part of an effort to secure UNESCO intangible-heritage status for the region’s maritime culture.

Following this, Cattolica scheduled a similar gathering for late August. Organized by the Museo della Regina and local associations, the event includes a sailing rally through the Cattolica and Gabicce canal ports and a cultural evening titled ‘Voci dal Mare: canti della Tradizione’ to highlight local maritime history and music.
