International aerospace manufacturers are expanding their industrial presence and technological activities within Morocco.

In September 2026, Safran established a new subsidiary, Systems Oil Safran Maroc, in the Nouaceur free zone. This entity, owned by Safran Aero Boosters, focuses on the design, production, and marketing of lubrication systems, such as oil tanks and units for turbofan engines.

By mid-October 2026, industrial capacity continued to grow. Safran Electrical & Power inaugurated a fourth extension at its Aïn Atiq site in Témara, marking the company’s 20th anniversary in Morocco. The 5,700 square meter expansion brings the total site area to 31,400 square meters and is expected to create more than 400 new jobs. The facility, which produces aeronautical electrical harnesses, is considered one of the largest industrial units of its kind globally. During the inauguration, attended by Minister of Industry and Trade Ryad Mezzour, leadership emphasized the role of electrical systems in the aviation industry’s transition toward carbon neutrality by 2050.

Additionally, the Swedish group Trelleborg announced plans to expand its aerospace facility in Nouaceur through an agreement with MEDZ. The company intends to increase its covered surface area from 5,209 square meters to over 10,000 square meters to boost the production of aircraft sealing systems, such as technical seals for wing fairings. These developments reflect the growing integration of Morocco into global aerospace value chains.
