A series of storyline developments in All Elite Wrestling (AEW) has led to the restructuring of several factions. Initially, Gabe Kidd was ousted from the wrestling group The Dogs after David Finlay and Clark Connors turned on Jon Moxley and the Death Riders, aligning themselves with the Bang Bang Gang in an unofficial Bullet Club reunion.

Following this alliance, Jay White announced that the new supergroup would be named ‘The Cut’. This name replaced the previously proposed ‘The Last Outfit’ following social media criticism. The seven-member faction has positioned itself against both The Death Riders and The Conglomeration, with potential future developments including recruitment and participation in an ‘Anarchy In The Arena’ match at AEW Full Gear.
