The Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Ravens continue their competition for the AFC North lead. Following a Week 5 loss to the New York Jets, the Browns’ three-game winning streak has ended. That matchup was characterized by offensive struggles and Deshaun Watson being sacked eight times.

The Ravens have moved into first place in the division after an overtime victory against the Atlanta Falcons. As the division enters Week 6, the competitive landscape has shifted with wins by the Cincinnati Bengals and Pittsburgh Steelers.

Attention remains focused on the health of Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson. While managing an ankle injury, head coach Jesse Minter stated that Jackson is “definitely doing better,” though his availability remains uncertain. Due to this injury, Tyler Huntley is considered the likely starter for the upcoming matchup, carrying a recent 3-0 record as a starter.

Looking ahead to the divisional matchup on October 18 at Huntington Bank Field, the Browns (3-2) host the Ravens (4-1). The game features a personal connection for Browns head coach Todd Monken, who previously served as the Ravens' offensive coordinator for three seasons. A primary tactical focus remains the matchup between Baltimore’s offense, featuring Derrick Henry, and a Cleveland run defense that has allowed opponents to succeed on over 52% of rushing attempts this season.
